Abstract

This article focuses on food security by looking at the processes by which food security can be achieved or at least be improved. More specifically, it focuses on agricultural initiatives intended to increase food security in rural areas. To achieve this, we are carrying out a comparative analysis of three agricultural initiatives that have emerged in rural Quebec. The objective is to identify elements of convergence and divergence with regard to the implementation and functioning of such projects, then to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the ways taken.
