This study examines how farmers’ organizations (FOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Bamako, Mali, are responding to the effects of climate change with limited resources. Through a qualitative approach based on a literature review and interviews, the study shows that, despite a growing strategic awareness of climate issues, the latter are not fully integrated into budgets and planning, and the operational capability remains weak. As a remedy, expanding training on climate management tools and institutionalizing their use is recommended. The study emphasizes the need for more resilient governance to tackle environmental challenges in a sustainable manner.
